SpoilerGuard

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Short version: SpoilerGuard does not collect, send, sell or share anything about you. Your lists and settings stay in your own Chrome. There is no account, no sign in and no tracking.

What SpoilerGuard looks at

On youtube.com, SpoilerGuard reads the title, channel name and upload date of the videos on your screen. It checks them against your lists to decide what to cover. This all happens inside your browser. Video titles, what you watch and what you search for are never sent to us or to anyone else.

AI powered hiding, when you switch it on, also runs inside your browser. Everything it needs comes with the extension, so it does not send titles anywhere either.

What SpoilerGuard saves

It saves your lists, your settings, and the videos and channels you chose to always show. These are kept in Chrome's own extension storage on your computer. We cannot see them. If you remove the extension, Chrome deletes them.
